Sheffield Wednesday want permanent deal for Stephen Bywater

Goalkeeper Stephen Bywater is due to return to derby this week after a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday. It seems the 30 year old is not part of Nigel Clough’s plans any more. It has been no secret that Wednesday boss Gary Megson wants him to sign permanently in January after impressing him during his loan spell.  Talks are currently ongoing between the two clubs, trying to reach a deal.Stephen Bywater has played over 150 times for The rams since signing in 2006 and was part of the squad that reached promotion to the Premier league in 2007.

Talks are also ongoing between Derby and Bristol City over a possible permanent move for midfielder Stephen Pearson, who is on loan there.
